If you make large meals for family (or anyone really), you often need lots of garlic. To quickly peel an entire head of garlic, smash an entire bulb and put it in a medium sized stainless steel bowl. With another identical bowl, flip it over and match it up to the top of the one with garlic. It should look like a large donut. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
